Hoffer Agriculture and Hoffer Red Angus are owned and operated by the Hoffer Family, including Landon and Amy Hoffer, parents Tim and Stacy Hoffer, and with help from Landon's brother, Colton Hoffer.  Our Red Angus seedstock operation focuses on breeding cattle at high altitude with a balanced set of maternal and performance traits. We also offer custom haying services. Cattle are raised on our 1,200-acre ranch outside Bosler, Wyoming, and 3,500 acres of summer pasture in the Laramie Mountains.

Starting with 120 head of commercial and registered cattle, and thanks to Landon's innovation and perseverance, Hoffer Red Angus is now pleased to offer some of the best Red Angus genetics for range-raised cattle who will thrive at altitude.  Customer relationships are important to the success of our business. We work hard to meet the needs of those who invest in our bulls, offering  a breeding season guarantee, PAP testing on all bulls, and free transportation within a 250-mile radius.

Along with the cattle operation, Tim and Landon started a custom haying business in 2008.  Initially, it was a small operation selling mostly small square bales to horse clients.  The business has since grown to offer customers a choice between large square bales and large round bales across Wyoming and the Front Range.  We can now offer options for customers including prices by the ton, on share, or purchasing the hay standing in the field.

Landon is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a degree in Agriculture Business. He also currently serves on the governor-appointed Wyoming Board of Agriculture representing Albany, Converse, Goshen, Laramie, Platte, and Natrona counties.
